Hi, I have an 8 year old staff and every year around this time of year until Jan there are fireworks going off all the time. Chester (my staff) is so scared of them he can not be left alone in the house after dark. Which as you can imagine is hard to make sure someone is with him all the time. We have tried the cd for a few years but this has not worked. One year I did have tablets (diazepam) from the vets but he went mad off them and again could'nt be left and I cannot give him this every time I have to work late and he will be alone. He will not be left alone in the week leading and after bonfire night but i don't know what to do. Can you help please. Thanks Sarah

Hi Sarah,
The best thing to do is to bring Chester in for a consultation with the vet as there are lots of different options such as tablets, or homeopathic remedies that the vet will be happy to discuss with you.
