Eloise Tucker

Eloise has been with South Wales Vets since 2016, gaining a Veterinary Nursing Assistant Diploma from Abbeydale in 2018 before going on to study with Coleg Gwent, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in early 2023. As an RVN, Eloise is responsible for being a radiation protection supervisor at the Blackwood branch, carrying out nursing consultations and caring for inpatients. Eloise is also involved in monitoring patients under anaesthesia and maintaining the branch laboratory machines. Eloise has a keen interest in canine behaviour and a real soft spot for nervous dogs, taking as much extra time with them as possible.

Outside of the practice, Eloise has two Border Collies and works with her husband and his family on their small traditional hill farm which produces Nelson Welsh Mountain sheep.
